Youth Environmental Action in Narva-Jõesuu

The project grew out of a wish to involve young people in solving local environmental challenges and to make public areas in Narva-Jõesuu cleaner and more pleasant.

At the same time, participants will gain knowledge about environmental protection, waste sorting, reuse and sustainable everyday habits.

The project includes five public environmental actions in different locations across Narva-Jõesuu, expert-led learning events, a reuse and upcycling workshop, and an environmental social media campaign.

The final event will present the project results and show how young people’s practical actions can have a positive impact on the local environment.

The expected results are improved public spaces, greater environmental awareness among young people and more active community participation in caring for the local environment.

The project will also strengthen cooperation between young people, the local municipality and the Narva-Jõesuu community.

The project is funded by the European Union through the European Solidarity Corps programme.
